Wanninger leads Cardinals on court and off
Acceleration Athlete Ashley Wanninger is only a junior, but a lot of colleges don't seem to mind.
The Colerain shooting guard has already received scholarship offers from Bowling Green, Valparaiso, Toldeo and Cincinnati, and has garnered attention from Illinois, Minnesota, Saint Louis, Louisville and Duke.
Such attention is deserved.
Head Coach Chris Mack believes that Wanninger's improved conditioning is the one of the reasons she's performing so well this season.
"Ashley is in the best shape I've ever seen her in," she said. "She cut almost a minute off her mile time in the preseason."
